What’s the first thing you hear when you tell someone you’re going on a job interview? Don’t they usually quote, almost word for word:
Employers want to hire workers who will give their business a good public perception. That is why it is important that you give that good perception, especially in an interview. When attending a job interview, you will want to make sure that you are professionally dressed, either in a pant suit or a dress. Make sure that your hair is well kept as well. In fact, you may want to think about buying a new outfit or getting your hair done before your interview is scheduled to take place.
Of course this is sound advice, but it should also be common sense. Recently, this very subject came up on the Online Internet Marketing Strategies blog.
While it’s great to look good and present well – duh – what you need are common sense, useful tips and resources that make you shine above all others. Be memorable. You might find our job hunting section useful – and a source of good leads if you look around!
