Wasteful Government Spending

Nevada legislation shame on you! Not only do you allow the largest repository of gold mining anywhere in the country to get away with paying little or no taxes while our deficit means hungry people and folks losing their homes – with no foreseeable plans for any real jobs in this State, but…
Can you imagine living in a State where we are at the very bottom in education and at the very top in foreclosures. Our unemployment rate is pushing 14% as I write this post.
Yet, our utility company is sucking up $800,000 in federal stimulus funds “for employee training and to add two staff members to focus on renewable energy.”
Read that again… TWO (2) staff members. Now either they plan to hire the dumbest people they can find who are going to need thousands of hours in “training,” or those already currently employed and holding down decent positions still aren’t doing their jobs properly?!?
It’s time we all got outraged. No “side taking” please! Just plain, good old fashioned rage and demand justice and help for those in need. Not the, yes stupid ones, who acted not just foolishly but with outright stupidity in their purchasing of this and that, but the fine people of this country who have been toeing the line, putting in more than their fair share, need help, and are still getting screwed.
